NOTE: Glenfinnan Web Hosting (GWH) has a zero tolerance policy for spam, bestiality, child pornography and warez. Any sites, email addresses, email lists or any other services provided by Glenfinnan Web Hosting that are found to contain, promote, or link to such content are subject to immediate removal and may be banned from any future use of services at Glenfinnan Web Hosting. Any sites at Glenfinnan Web Hosting that are spam-vertised will be terminated immediately and banned from any future use of services at Glenfinnan Web Hosting. By signing up for a web hosting account at Glenfinnan Web Hosting, you accept these terms and conditions and acknowledge that your use of Glenfinnan Web Hosting is subject to certain limitations set forth below.


Glenfinnan Web Hosting (GWH) cannot be held responsible for the content of pages or email lists hosted here or email sent out from email addresses hosted here. We do not review pages, email or email lists for content before they are sent or posted and do not verify, endorse, or otherwise take responsibility for the content of any user-created pages, email or email lists. However, we reserve the right to remove any page or list or terminate any email address which we determine is violating the rules and guidelines of GWH. Users are solely responsible for all files or messages contained in their own directory or list archive or sent out thru their email address(es), and can be held legally liable for the contents of their Web site.


The following is a nonexclusive list of content and behaviors that are UNACCEPTABLE on GWH: ("Content" includes website pages, email list archives, email sent out from or stored on the GWH servers.)

  1. Content that contains or links to bestiality or child pornography.
  2. Content that condones, promotes, contains, or links to warez, cracks, hacks, their associated utilities, or other piracy-related information, whether for educational purposes or not.
  3. Content that has been promoted through the sending of unsolicited email (spamming) or email fraud schemes, or pages that promote or condone the sending of unsolicited email. Users who utilize GWH resources, including email addresses and email lists, for spam are also subject to prosecution to the fullest extent of the law.
  4. Content which harasses, threatens, defames, or abuses others or promotes or incites hate of any individual or group.
  5. Content that exploit images of children under 18 years of age or links to any site that does so.
  6. Content that posts or discloses personal identification information or private information of individuals under the age of 13 or in connection with materials directed toward individuals under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent.
  7. Content that provides, sells, or offers to sell the following: controlled substances, illegal drugs and drug contraband, alcohol, weapons, pirated materials, child pornography products, programs to attack others, illegal goods, escort services, instructions on making, assembling, or obtaining illegal goods or weapons, information used to break copyright or trademark violations, to destroy others' property, or to harm any people or animals.
  8. Any other content or behavior which impairs the overall use and full enjoyment of GWH by visitors to other sites on this domain. Any content or behavior that that GWH determines is objectionable or a misuse of the offered services.

Determination of what content or behavior violates the TOS is solely at the discretion of GWH and that determination is final. If any account at GWH is found to be violating any term of service, it may be terminated immediately and any fees paid for any services at GWH will be retained in full as penalty for the violation(s). Any future request for services at GWH will be refused.


GWH provides space for hosting websites, email addresses and email lists but makes no implied or express warranties about the reliability of this space or related services. GWH is not responsible for any deletion, alteration, or loss of data due to network or system outages, file corruption, accidental deletion, or any other reasons. GWH makes no guarantees about server reliability, speed, or consistency, and cannot be held liable for such.

Users are responsible for regularly monitoring and creating backups of their own files, email messages, and/or email list archives and agree to use the GWH resources and infrastructure at their own risk. This service is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied. Neither GWH nor its owner makes any warranty with respect to any content, information, services, or products provided through or in conjunction with this service.

GWH and its owner make no guarantee of the accuracy, correctness, or completeness of any information on these websites, email lists or email sent out from any GWH email addresses and are not responsible for any errors or omissions arising from the use of such information; any failures, delays, or interruptions in the delivery of any content or services contained on our servers; or losses or damages arising from the use of the content or services provided.


If you terminate your account at GWH, refunds of fees paid for the Large Hosting Plans are limited to complete unused months; partial months cannot be refunded. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receipt of cancellation request. Refunds are processed only thru Paypal, a valid email address must be provided in the cancellation request. Annual hosting fees for the Small Hosting Plans or for Domain Registration (regardless of hosting plan selected) cannot be refunded at all. (Accounts terminated for violation of this TOS will not receive any refunds of prepaid webhosting fees at all.)


This TOS is subject to change without notice and all changes apply to all current websites and lists immediately and retroactively. It is your responsibility to check here on a regular basis.
